Issues of Faith

After God created the universe, Satan came to tempt Adam and Eve to disobey God. This disobedience was the first sin. Sin had entered the world; the world was now no longer perfect.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Eph. 2:8-9

He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.1 Peter 2:24

" ... which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.22And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Eph.1: 20-23

Who is the Holy Spirit?: The Holy Spirit is a divine person in the Holy Trinity. The qualities of God also apply to the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is God.
