Growing In Faith

"For it is by God's grace that' you have been save through faith. It is not the result of your own   efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about· it. God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus. He has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10.

"For we conclude that a person is put right with god only through faith, and not by doing what the law requires." Romans 3: 28

"The god who said, 'out of the darkness the light shall shine!' is the same God who made his light to shine in our hearts, to bring us to knowledge of god's glory shining in the face of Christ?" 2 Cor. 4: 6.

"NO ONE CAN SAY 'JESUS IS LORD' EXCEPT BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. 1 Cor. 12: 3

Jesus has won forgiveness of sins and everlasting life for all people. God offers these free gifts   to everyone. We receive them when we believe that Jesus died to save us from punishment for our sins.

"So get rid of your old self, which made you live as you used to- the old self that was being destroyed by its deceitful desires. Your hearts and minds must be made completely new, and    you must put on the new self, which is created in god's likeness and reveals itself in the true life that is upright and holy" - Ephesians 4:22-24
